Aries New Moon April 17, 2026

Mars left watery Pisces on April 9th and jumped into his domain sign Aries, and was just joined there by Mercury on April 14th. We now have 7 heavenly bodies, (including the Moon for 2 and a half days), in this first and fiery sign of the Zodiac! They are: Sun and Moon, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune and the Centaur Chiron. That's a lot of energy for new beginnings and stirring the pot!

This New Moon takes place Friday, April 17th at 7:52 am EDT @ 28°Aries. The Sabian Symbol for this degree of the zodiac is: "A Large Audience Confronts the Performer Who Disappointed Its Expectations". Much can, and has been, said about this symbol. I don't feel the need to say much more, except this: that description could pretty much run as a headline in our daily news.

Prayer, meditation, and being in nature help us to release self-sabotage and gain insight into our healing. We cannot rely on others to make us whole.
