Libra Full Moon April 1, 2026

What an auspicious day for Artemis II to launch its' mission to circumnavigate the Moon in 6 days! The Moon is Full tonight at 10:12pm EDT at 12°21' Libra. With the Sun in Aries and the Moon at polarity in Libra, balance is the keyword here. While a daring new adventure is happening in the sky above us everyone has to do their part in maintaining a harmonious trajectory toward the far side of the Moon, and that involves coordination from the ground crew. It feels both literally and figuratively appropriate to use the phrase, as above, so below today!

Saturn is also in Aries close to the Sun's position and in opposition to the Moon as well, making this a time of cautious restraint, serious intention and self-discipline. How appropos that the Sun is driving us toward a new adventure away from our home, the Earth while the Moon becomes our focus. Issues of belonging, abandonment, safety and security are all highlighted at this time.

Jupiter, representing expansion of new horizons, is still in Cancer, the sign of home and family and is sitting in a T-square to both the Sun and Moon, bringing tension to our inner worth and outer drive. The Moon is the Ruler of the sign Cancer and it may be that we all need a bit of distance to see what is important to meeting our needs and the needs of our Mother Earth as she sits between the Sun and Moon. We must ask ourselves how are we doing at this Full Moon in caring for her?

In the meantime, between visiting the NASA website over the next 10 days for updates on the 4 brave souls working aboard that little Integrity Capsule floating around in space, you might want to remember while glancing at the Moon, to also keep your feet on the ground.
