Leo Full Moon

The Full Moon takes place Sunday, February 1st at 5:09pm EST in the 14th degree of fiery Leo. The Sabian Symbol for this zodiacal degree is:

"a human soul seeking opportunities for outward manifestation." I paraphrase Dane Rudhyar here: the soul standing behind the personality seeks to express itself through the personality and when the opportunity presents itself a dramatic release can occur. Let your soul speak, allow it to manifest your true being. You couldn't get much more Leo than that!

Five planets are in Aquarius, and four of them are within orb of an opposition to the Moon in Leo, which are the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars. Interesting that the Moon is in the Sun's domicile and tucked away in the 12th House. While Leo seeks the limelight, Luna here wants only to express herself and her love through the gifts she has to offer others, especially the downtrodden and much-maligned.

The current planetary line-up, or stellium, in Aquarius urges us to work with the collective, concentrating our efforts on new ways of thinking, communicating, and connecting for the greater good. Revolutionary shifts are happening all over the world, both physically within the Earth herself, and figuratively within human consciousness. This IS the time to think outside the box, to share ideas and listen to others, to stand up and be heard!

Neptune just moved into Aries for the 1st time in 164 years, sitting on the world axis degree and bringing the realization that we are all one. It's time to listen to our inner voice of compassion and understanding and ask ourselves what we can do to bring more metaphysical and spiritual focus to healing ourselves and all living creatures, as well as the Earth.

The action planet Mars is aligned with the powerful energy of Pluto at 3° Aquarius. Some say war is on the horizon. Some say it doesn't have to manifest that way. Coming together in true Aquarian fashion and asserting our desire for peace within our homes, communities, and nations can avert fighting and mistrust. Where do you stand now... in fear or love?
