Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Pisces

Sunday's Full Moon in Pisces opposes the Sun in Virgo on the Moon's Nodes, creating a Lunar eclipse. An eclipse occurs when the Earth is directly aligned with the Sun and blocking light to the Moon. The Pisces Moon draws us inward for reflection, spirituality, compassion and artistic expression.

Pisces, being the last sign of the zodiac, wants us to slow down and take stock of our inner need for connection on a deeper, spiritual, and more intuitive level. Unless we slow down for rest and reflection, we may miss Pisces subtle energy as it speaks to our sense of the collective unconscious. Pisces understands that we are all connected and that our compassion and caring for another has a healing affect for all.

Intuition is very strong at this time and it's wise to plan some down-time in order to access the messages coming to you through quieter channels. You can do this by listening to your Higher Self while sitting in prayer or meditation, or spending time in nature. Other ways to connect can be listening to peaceful music, practicing yoga or painting.

Whatever feelings or emotions arise at this time are coming up for review so that you may discern between what's useful and what no longer serves a purpose. A Pisces Eclipse is especially helpful for releasing whatever has outlived it's purpose or meaningfulness in your life in order to move forward. An Eclipse is felt as it progresses over the next six months.
